Substance Abuse is costly

The nation spends about $168 billion on alcohol and other substance abuse problems each year. That is $675 for every man, woman and child in the coutry. Substance Abuse affects not only the abuser, but their family, friends and the community at large as well.

For over twenty five years, the Long Beach South Bay Substance Abuse Coalition has been committed to improving local communities by joining together to address the impact of substance abuse, and minimize the pain and suffering created by these problems
